# Governance Token

EDT token owners can make and vote for governance proposals that may affect the EduStar protocol. Some things that can affect the protocol through voting are as follows. 

* Rewards distributed at the completion of the EduStar Learning Plan phase.
* Adding content to the EduStar platform.
